Welcome The Shanty Crew are singers of songs of
the sea. In the old days
a shanty was a work song and that is what we sing. We sing in the
traditional manner, acapella without instruments. Our songs are chorus songs gutsy
and sometimes lustily sung. The crew have been singing these songs
since 1976 following a centuries old tradition of singing work songs. The crew research the songs they
sing and will share the benefit of that work with all who ask. The crew will sing anywhere at
